Thoughts for Prayer: A Cowboy’s Perspective

Prayer for Real Life
Prayer does not have to wait for the perfect moment. Whether you are seeking strength, encouragement, safety, rest or simply a closer relationship with God, prayer gives us an opportunity to turn our attention toward Him in every season of life.
In Thoughts for Prayer: A Cowboy’s Perspective, author Craig Morse approaches prayer through something that has been meaningful throughout his life: the world of horses and horse tack.
Those observations became 31 prayers for strength, safety, encouragement, rest and other moments when we need to turn toward God.

Prayer Can Be Part of Everyday Life
Ordinary things can become reminders to turn toward God. A familiar object can prompt gratitude, a difficult task can remind us to ask for strength, and a quiet moment can become an opportunity to listen.
